Insulation and Buoyancy Services Limited (Trading as IBSL Group) was founded in 1989 to manufacture and fabricate industrial insulation materials and buoyancy structures.
Since its formation the objective of IBSL Group has been to ensure that all manufactured and fabricated products have a "fitness for purpose" to meet the requirements stipulated by the purchaser. The growth of IBSL Group has been consistently high over recent years to allow us to provide further products. The IBSL product range consists of Cellular Glass, (Foamglas T4, S3 and F), Calcium Silicate (Gentherm 650, Newtherm 800, & Promasil 1000), Phenolic Foam (40, 60, 80, 120 & 160kg), PIR (35, 40, 50, 60 & 80kg), Expanded Polystyrene and PU.

The IBSL Group is acknowledged world wide for their expertise and knowledge within the manufacture and supply of industrial insulation products, temperatures ranging from -260ºC to +1000 ºC.

Our Company is fully accredited to ISO9001 Quality System for our design capability and procedures.
The products and services supplied by the IBSL Group are utilised by the Petrochemical Industry, Power Generation, and Offshore exploration.

Our Calcium Silicate range has been approved by the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Powergen and National Power.
