Product Category: Phenolic & PIR Foams
Phenolic FoamThe high closed cell content of our Phenolic insulation gives a very high resistance to moisture penetration, with the option of aluminium foil. The thermal efficiency educes the necessary thickness requirement, providing a low K value, saving energy and CO2 emissions. Our Phenolic range benefits from low flame spread, low smoke emission and gives off virtually no toxic fumes.Standards Include: BS4370, BS476 Part 6 and Part 7-Results conform to Class O of the UK Building Regulations, Epiradiateur-M1, ASTM E84 25/50 Flame & Smoke-up to 3 inches thick, NEN 6065/6066-Klasse 1/2 and DIN4102-B1Available densities include 35kg/40kg, 60kg, 80kg, 120kg & 160kg.
Polyisocyanurate Foam (PIR)PIR is manufactured from a mixture of two principal liquid components and a number of additives to produce highly cross-linked polymers with a 90% closed cell structure providing an excellent resistance to moisture penetration. Typical applications include: Oil Refinery, chemical process plant, cryogenic and liquid gas plants, Rail and Marine transport, Refrigeration pipework, Food processing, brewery industries and MOD applications. Standards Include: BS5608:1993, BS 4840: Part1:1985, BS 4840: Part2:1994, BS 5422: 1990, BS5970: 1992.Available densities include 35kg, 50kg, 60kg, 80kg & 120kg.
