SoliPaper™ ZR-Grade

Vulcor is proud to present the SoliPaper ZR-grade which are manufactured from our high purity Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF-Zr) 1430 SoliBulk ZR-grade and special selected fillers. We have developed an optimized production process to manufacture uniform, lightweight, low shot and flexible paper-like products. SoliPaper ZR is based on the Ultra Low Shot technology which is at the cutting edge of fiber production, achieving the highest possible thermal insulation value and handling strength

Based on SoliWool ZR Bulk, the SoliPaper ZR-grade is providing a proven solution in applications operating continuously till temperatures of 1300°C.


​SoliPaper ZR-grade is our highest positioned refractory ceramic fiber paper (RCF-Zr)1430 in the SoliPaper product range, only having the SoliPaper PCW to outperform on classification temperature. The high classification temperature is the result of the use of Zirconia in the chemical composition of the fiber. The SoliPaper ZR-grade has a classification temperature of 1430°C and is engineered to perform continuously in a wide range of applications up till 1300°C.

Utilizing an optimized production process to manufacture uniform, lightweight, low shot and flexible paper-like products, we are able to create a product with a smooth surface, close dimension tolerances, exceptionally low dust, high handling strength, better thermal insulating performance and retains its flexibility after compression. SoliPaper ZR-grade is very flexible, but offers a high tensile strength as result of the high fiber index. It is particulary suited to all applications requiring further processing (laminated composites, die-cutting, rolling, folding).

SoliPaper ZR-grade is part of the SoliPaper product range. With a variety of three Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF) grades, a high strength paper, the PCW based paper, and the famous ‘ULS’ Low Bio Persistence Fiber grade we are offering one of the most extensive ranges of high temperature fiber paper products in the market today. With our  different chemical compositions we are able to provide a solution to nearly every atmosphere or temperature.
